Maria Midttun is an artist and illustrator based in London, UK. 

Working using a combination of charcoal and collage, her work embraces handmade and lo-fi aesthetics, with a particular focus on people, everyday moments, and still life scenes. Her work has been applied to branding, packaging and editorial.

Since 2022 she has been running Cecilie Press, a risoprinting studio and small press.  

Maria has worked with:
New York Times, The Natural History Museum, Studio Hato, Hackney Society, Studio Groundfloor, Neighhourhood Botanicals and The Barbican.
